People Search: PeopleFinder is a people search engine that provides a few details for free, like the person's aliases, age, family members, and sometimes the first several digits of their phone number. Task management: Wrike is web-based Task Management software and it does not require any installation or download. It can be easily used just by creating an account. BuzzFeed - With its well-curated content and handling of sensational topics in a sensitive way, BuzzFeed has become an epitome of genuine parallel publishing on web. It’s a website that brings you awesome updates and features from across the globe. The best part is that BuzzFeed has regional versions too, where you can find content that is related to your surroundings. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an avid reader or a movie junkie or a social maniac, you will have find something interesting on BuzzFeed. It’s not only about articles and GIFs but also about some interesting videos too. 2. Crossfade - Do you want to create a unique audio track consisting of your favorite songs? It doesn’t matter where you’d find those tracks from. Crossfade lets you create a multi-platform audio track and play it along. Suppose you have found two music videos on YouTube and Vimeo and one song from SoundCloud. Won’t that be great if you can add them into a single playlist and listen to them? Well, just paste the URLs at Crossfade and it will download and create the playlist for you. Once added, you can save your playlist for later playback as well. If you are a music lover, this is a great feature. 3. Reddit - When compared to Facebook or Twitter, Reddit isn’t that popular among the common public. But, for any person who has some interest, Reddit is for you. But, you have to make sure that you don’t get too excited and addicted about the person. What makes Reddit ‘Reddit’ is not just the variety of content you find there but also the interaction and comments. There are some serious and funny discussions going on in Reddit and you are even awarded points when someone likes your content. It’s a whole new world and a great place to spend time when you’re bored. 4. Uncrate - The website hosts over 9000 products only for men. The products range from vintage motorcycles to jackets to Bluetooth earbuds. A very cool site to check out before your next shopping spree. 5. ZergNet - ZergNet does not offer its original content but hosts the content from the best publishers around the world. The content mainly focuses on movies, tv-series and other entertainment related stuff. A good place to discover quality articles. Accounting Software: QuickBooks Enterprise is an accounting platform that aims to provide end-to-end solutions for high-growth businesses. It comes with a robust selection of functionalities that includes reporting and financial management, sales management, and purchasing management. Moreover, the platform is equipped with enterprise-grade payroll management, intuitive inventory monitoring, and industry-specific features to help you aggregate all of your transactions in one platform 3. Time Tracker: DeskTime is a simple-to-use time tracking app that combines three crucial features - employee monitoring, project management and productivity analysis. Then you need to check out Oddee , one of the web's larges and most popular blogs featuring the craziest, strangest and most bizarre content you probably won't find anywhere else. Most posts are numbered lists, complete with lots of photos and videos for you to look at. Categories include art, signs, places, objects, ads, science, medicine, home design, names, people, gifts, stories, tech and more. 2. The Oatmeal - Created by Matthew Inman a.k.a. “The Oatmeal,” his popular humor website caters to the avid comic lover and quiz taker. His wacky drawings are mainly based on relatable life situations, education, and crazy stories that would never be possible in real life. Some of the jokes might seem rude to certain folks, but the average, laidback internet user can probably get a great kick out of them. 3. Vsauce - Vsauce is an incredibly popular and successful YouTube channel (with several spinoff channels) that has attracted over 13 million subscribers. Videos focus on interesting educational content where channel creator Michael Stevens teaches viewers about all sorts of amazing topics, almost resembling a modern-day Bill Nye the Science Guy. On the Vsauce website, you can browse through and watch videos across all Vsauce channels. 4. Forgotify - Do you love finding great music via Spotify? Okay, here is the problem. Not all great artists are popular when it comes to a large database like that of Spotify and you might be missing out some of them. Forgotify is an awesome attempt to bring such great but unnoticed artists into the limelight. The next time you want to find a song that will quench your thirst for music, Forgotify will help you. To get started, it offers you a list of the best songs that have been forgotten but re-discovered by the team. The website has been endorsed by many media giants like TIME and BBC. 5. Communication app: RedBooth is primarily a task tracking application, but it also features built-in chat software for instant communication between team members. Workers can communicate in the same window as a task assignment, helping to keep the chat productivity-oriented. 3. Video Conference: Lifesize, a suite of highly-interoperable video conferencing and virtual meeting room solutions that enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity. 4. Mapping Tool: ArcGIS, the powerful tool involves desktop mapping software that allows creating beautiful maps with little training. According to the developers of ArcGIS, it was developed to get users up and running in the shortest possible timeframe. That’s why the tool can be used by people with no extensive experience and on any device. Throw in a url for an Amazon product and it tells you how the price has changed over the years. You might realise you’re buying at the wrong time. 2. The Secret Door - It won’t open into a dark nook at Hogwarts, but it can take you to equally unexpected places around the world. The idea is simple—open the secret door and let Google’s Street View transport you to an interesting place on the globe. Think of it as a portal for virtual globetrotting. And if you don’t like it, just click the Take Me Somewhere Else button. This Google inspired cure for boredom definitely ranks as one of the more fun ways to use Google Maps and Street View. 3. Museum of Endangered Sounds - Want a dose of serious nostalgia? Maybe, the sound of a dial-up modem will do it for you or the dial of a rotary phone. The Museum of Nostalgia will send you back in time. The single-person effort from Brendan Chilcutt aims to preserve the signature sounds of old technologies. 4. Sketch Something Daily - Creativity is the magic pill to zap boredom. Sketch Something Daily is one of the artistic things to do online when bored. Notes: CherryTree is unlike most note-taking apps in that it’s more of a personal wiki. However, since pages can be nested under each other in a hierarchy, it’s more than good enough for taking notes. What makes it a wiki? You can insert links to any other page throughout the notebook. CherryTree is very fast, making it one of the best lightweight note-taking apps. 3. Design Tools: InVision Where product design meets user experience design... and falls in love. Whether you need to quickly share a single mockup or demo a complex mobile app, InVision gives you the tools to show off your designs like never before. RAPID PROTOTYPING THAT TAKES YOUR DESIGN CONVERSATION TO A NEW... 4. File Sharing: Dropsend is an application to share large files up to 4GB, ideal for sending JPGs, PDFs and MP3s in a fast, simple and secure way. The app then generates a meal plan for the user. This website is a really useful one for people who are health conscious. 2. Bored Button - It is a pointless website on the internet. Bored Button displays a big red button on its homepage which once the user clicks randomly generate and opens another page to uplift the mood of the user. It shows fancy card tricks, riddles to follow and much more for the user to view. 3. Experience Mount Everest - Everyone in the world after knowing about the mountain has thought of reaching the peak heights of Mount Everest. Well, here is an application website which displays a 3D overview of the mountain with a trekking like atmosphere. 4. Down For Everyone Or Just Me? - A really productive application website which allows the user to crosscheck whether a particular internet website they are unable to open on their devices is only down for them or if it’s a worldwide issue. This website helps solve a lot of problems for people who come across issues of these kinds and want to know what the problem behind them is. 5. 9Gag - Over the years, 9Gag has established itself as the number one meme application, website and Facebook page in the world. They have over 35 million Facebook followers. Their website offers a mixture of videos, meme images, hilarious ongoing news of the world and much more. Content Creation: GetResponse gives you the tools you need to build powerful emails that look fantastic on mobile devices, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. You can design landing pages to go with your email marketing campaigns, drawing potential clients closer and increasing conversion rates. Create automated features that coincide with your customers’ behavior, and craft webinars that offer value to your clients. 2. Whiteboard: Ziteboard is another web-based whiteboard that is shareable, has real-time functionality, and a zoomable whiteboard. It's also a whiteboard that loads into any web browser. This whiteboard does not require any setup and users don't need to log in. The boards are shareable with permanent URLS. What makes Ziteboard unique is the fact that users can publish boards to the web and feature them in presentation mode. Presentation mode lets users view the boards without having the ability to collaborate or edit them. The users can sync screens with coworkers to allow them to see what is currently being looked at. 3. Collaboration: ProofHub is a work management tool that offers a comprehensive suite of collaboration and project management functions. On this platform, you can organize files, plan and monitor projects and discuss with colleagues and stakeholders. ProofHub also lets you review and approve files through an online proofing tool. 4. Each post features a short, stick-figure comic strip on humor about technology, science, mathematics, and relationships. The guy behind it is Randall Munroe, who worked on robots at NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia before starting this blog. 2. Pottermore - As a marketer, you might dive so deep into branding your business, you have no time to brand yourself. Even if you're not a massive Harry Potter fan, Pottermore can scratch that itch for you. Pottermore is widely recognized as the official website for finding your Patronus, your wand type, the Hogwarts House you belong to (of course), and much more. The quizzes you take to earn these identities are just obscure enough to hold your excitement for the result, and might even encourage you to read (or reread) the famous Harry Potter books -- something you should definitely do to balance out your time-wasting website sessions. 3. Lose yourself in Letters of Note - This gem of a website curates famous historical letters – including those from celebrities, poets, writers, politicians, scientists, and more. It's easy to do a deep dive and only come up for air 30 minutes later, having read Marie Curie's letter of recommendation for Albert Einstein. The author also runs Lists of Note, which focuses on lists, and Letterheady, which focuses on beautiful stationary. 4. Go to town on e-books with Project Gutenberg - Project Gutenberg has over 49,000 e-books for free, with more being added regularly. You can download them to your phone or Kindle – or just keep one open in a tab to dip in and out of. All the books featured are out of copyright, so you can expect plenty of Sherlock Holmes, as well as The Call of the Wild, Wuthering Heights, and more. 5. Browse music across time and space with Radiooooo - Radiooooo is a really neat concept. Click on an era and a location, and listen to the music that was popular there and then. So, if you click 1950 + United Kingdomn, you'll get a swing track. But 1930 + Australia digs up a folk song. Easy to while away a whole afternoon.
